01Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the website at essayvet.com (the "Site"), you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Veteran Labs ("we", "us", "our"). If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
02Products in development
The products described on the Site are in development. Descriptions, screenshots, interface previews, features, integrations, roadmaps, progress figures and launch dates are illustrative, reflect our current plans and may change, be delayed or be withdrawn without notice.
Prices shown are indicative only. They are not an offer to sell and do not form part of any contract. Final pricing and terms for each product will be set out in a separate agreement when it becomes available.
03Waitlist and early access
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to any product or beta.
- We may invite waitlist members to early-access or beta programmes at our discretion and in any order.
- Beta and preview versions are provided "as is" for evaluation, may contain errors, and may be changed, suspended or ended at any time. Do not rely on them for critical work and keep your own copies of anything important.
- If you give us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve our products without any obligation to you.
- Additional terms may apply to specific programmes; we will show them to you before you join.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- submit false, misleading or someone else's information, including in job or writer applications;
- upload malware, or files you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems, or other users' accounts or data;
- scrape, overload or interfere with the Site, or bypass its security features;
- harass, impersonate or abuse anyone.
We may suspend or end your access to any part of the Site if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms.
05Academic integrity
Our education products are designed to support learning and assessment — for example by giving feedback, managing citations or checking originality. They are not designed to complete assignments on a user's behalf.
Students are responsible for following the academic rules of their school, college or university, including rules on the use of software and AI tools. Educators remain responsible for academic decisions; outputs such as similarity reports or authorship signals are aids to judgement, not verdicts.
06Accounts
Where the Site provides an account (for example for members of our writer network), you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us straight away at support@essayvet.com if you think your account has been misused. We may approve, decline, suspend or close accounts at our discretion.
07Careers and applications
- Job postings describe roles we are recruiting for; they are not an offer of employment and we may close or change them at any time.
- Submitting an application, or joining our writer network, does not create an employment, contractor or agency relationship. Any engagement will be set out in a separate written agreement.
- You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Providing false information may lead to an application being rejected or an offer being withdrawn.
- Salary ranges and benefits are indicative and depend on experience, location and final terms of employment.
- We handle applicant information as described in our privacy policy.
08Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, designs, graphics, interface previews, logos, and the names Veteran Labs, Verbelle, Refwise, Studyloom, Origina, Registrix, Markwell, Classhaven, Docusmith, Minutely and Signalyst — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Site's content, or use our names or logos, without our written permission.
Content you submit to us (such as messages, CVs and profiles) remains yours. You give us permission to store and use it only as needed for the purpose you submitted it for.
09Third-party links and services
The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.
10Disclaimer
We aim to keep the Site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that information on it is complete or up to date.
11Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the Site or any early-access programme.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Veteran Labs is established, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.
