About the role
You will work end-to-end on Veteran ID (our single sign-on), the shared API layer and the services behind Origina, Docusmith and Minutely. You will design schemas, build APIs, ship UI and own features in production — with a strong say in how our platform scales.
What you'll do
- Design, build and operate APIs and backend services
- Ship full features from database schema to user interface
- Build secure authentication, permissions and multi-tenant data models
- Set up observability, CI/CD and automated testing
- Contribute to architecture reviews and technical roadmaps
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of professional full stack experience
- Strong experience with Node.js, PHP or Python on the backend
- Confident with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and query design
- Production React/TypeScript experience on the front end
- Understanding of security best practices (OWASP, OAuth 2.0/OIDC)
Nice to have
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) and Docker
- Experience integrating ML/LLM services into products
- Background with GDPR, FERPA or SOC 2 compliance
